“Stories and poems about the Yangtze’s Lake Hong and its purity are enshrined in Chinese cultural history. But by 2003 it had been severely damaged due to unsustainable fishing and farming practices”. These are the opening words of the 5min long documentary “The Story of Lake Wong” by Daniel Montanarini, which follows the story of Mr Zhang The Patrolman about what is being done to try and revert the effects of past harmful activity on this beautiful landmark.
